INTRO TO SUP FAQ

The Answers You Need

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Weather can vary and change throughout the course of a lesson. Wear comfortable clothing that you won't mind if it gets wet. You can dress in layers.

A hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and bug repellent are all recommended.

Water shoes are an option to consider as the shore line can be rocky and some find it a bit hard on the feet. They are not a requirement, only a suggestion for your comfort.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING

Bring water for after the lesson. You will be thirsty! Bring a towel in case you are wet and cool.

WHAT GEAR IS PROVIDED

All required paddling gear is included:

Standup Paddleboard, Paddle, PFD, Leash

ARE WASHROOM FACILITIES AVAILABLE

There are no washrooms available at the lesson locations.

IS PADDLEBOARDING SAFE

Yes paddleboarding is safe.  However, with all outdoor and water activities, there are always risks involved.

A signed waiver is required to participate in all events.

We highly recommend taking an Intro To SUP Lesson to learn how to safely enjoy paddleboarding.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

To cancel or reschedule:

Lessons require 24 hour advance notice.

River Tours require 48 hours advance notice as there are many planning factors to consider.

Less than this may result in only a partial refund.

If any event is cancelled due to poor weather or environment conditions, you will be contacted to either reschedule or be offered a full refund.
